The governor will be joined by the corrections commissioner, and the secretaries of education and labor among others, when he announces the initiative. The plan will have state agencies working together with inmates, prior to their release, to tackle issues like finding jobs, securing housing and combating drug and alcohol addictions. The initiative will be outlined at the Northern New Castle County Adult Probation and Parole Office in Newark. |
