A
35-year veteran of the Maryland Division of Parole and Probation
was confirmed by the state Senate today as the agency's new
director.
Baltimore native Patrick McGee will oversee 1,200 employees, 44
field offices and a budget of roughly $100 million.
McGee began working as an agent in 1974. He also has been the
agency's substance abuse coordinator, deputy director for program
services and executive deputy director.
McGee is a graduate of Loyola College.
